BOOKING, PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION OF TOURIST SERVICES

(CULTURAL VISITS, EXCURSIONS, VIRTUAL TOURS)

Guests are reminded that the general terms and conditions of contract are adapted from time to time according to the evolution of the relevant legislation and are advised to read the version of the general terms and conditions of contract applicable at the time of booking published on the website www.plutoneviaggi.it or at the Travel Agency.

Changes, refunds and cancellations
To change dates or cancel a tour, please contact our offices by phone or email at prenotazioni@plutoneviaggi.it.

  • Namechanges are always permitted, except when issuing named tickets.

  • Excursions with transport included may be cancelled up to 8 days before the departure date, but the costs of any entrance tickets or transport tickets already issued will be retained. For requests received less than 8 days prior to departure, no refund will be given. (The same amounts will have to be paid by those who are unable to make the trip due to the lack or irregularity of any personal travel documents or green-passes where applicable). All trips include medical/luggage insurance. Where cancellation insurance is included, in the event of a cancellation fee you can refer to your Allianz policy.

  • Cultural tours without transport can be cancelled or changed within 3 days of the visit, after which date the cost of the tour cannot be refunded.

  • Virtual Tours can be cancelled or modified up to 48 hours before the start of the event without penalty. Beyond this limit the service is no longer refundable. If the event is abandoned, the cost cannot be refunded.

  • In the case of pre-established groups , the penalties for withdrawal shall be the subject of a specific agreement each time the contract is signed.

  • Any changes are subject to availability and may incur a surcharge. Although we will make every effort to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee it. In this case you can keep your original booking or cancel.

  • Cancellations due to force majeure are regulated as follows:
    If a booking of an excursion, with or without transport, tour, is cancelled due to force majeure, a full refund will be given in the form of a credit for the full amount of the tour or journey except for non-recoverable tickets and agency fees. The following are considered force majeure if they occur after the booking of the tour or service:

    • Travel ban issued by local authorities;

    • Closure of tourist corridors at departure or destination, closure of borders;

    • Ships unable to sail.

Important notes

  • It is the responsibility of all participants to be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour;

  • The place and time of the appointment will be communicated upon confirmation of the visit to the contacts provided during the booking process; for further information on meeting points or other urgent matters, please telephone the agency on 0648903537;

  • All tours, cultural visits and excursions with or without transport are confirmed even in the event of adverse weather conditions, unless force majeure prevents them from running smoothly. No refunds will be given for cancellations in the event of adverse weather conditions.

  • Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian;

  • If you are travelling outside Italy, you must present a valid identity document for foreign nationals at the meeting point;

  • Wherever used, radioguides will be supplied sanitised and with disposable earpieces; if lost, a charge of €70 per device will be made;

  • Plutone Viaggi reserves the right to refuse participation in its cultural tours/visits to any person under the influence of drugs/alcohol and to any passenger who poses a threat to staff or guests;

  • The Travel Agency is not responsible for cancellations or programme changes due to force majeure (total or partial closures of museums, monuments or churches, traffic delays, strikes, adverse weather conditions, etc.). No refund will be due. Some tours may be cancelled or modified. The itinerary is subject to change for reasons of force majeure and/or unforeseeable at the date of the offer, but without compromising the theme of the event;

  • Tours, cultural visits and excursions with or without transport are confirmed once the minimum number of participants has been reached, as indicated in detail in the programme for each individual event. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we will inform you within 3 days of the date of the cultural visit and within 8 days of the date of the excursion with transport and proceed to refund you or to issue a voucher to be used for a future visit. The voucher issued is valid for one year, after which it will be refunded if not used;

  • Cultural visits and excursions with transport will take place entirely or mainly on foot. For guests with mobility difficulties, we suggest contacting our offices on 0648903537 for more information;

  • All our guides, drivers and staff have a mandatory green pass at their place of work.

  • Online events may be cancelled due to force majeure. If an event has to be cancelled, we will notify you by email and provide a refund;

  • In order to participate in online events, it is important to note the minimum technical requirements. Our technical support is available to help with troubleshooting. Plutone Viaggi is not responsible for the malfunctioning of the internet connection of individual participants.

No penalties for name change. All tickets for transportation and third-party venues are non-refundable.

  • Should you wish to make any changes to your reservation for a one-day excursion with transportation included, you must request said changes as soon as possible and no later than eight (8) days before the date and time of your reservation. After that date no refund will be issued. Tickets for transportation and third-party venues are non-refundable.

  • Should you wish to make any changes to your reservation for an excursion without transportation included, you must request said changes as soon as possible and no later than three (3) days before the date and time of your reservation. After that date no refund will be issued. Tickets for third-party venues are non-refundable.

  • Should you wish to make any changes to your reservation for a Virtual Tour you can cancel or reschedule an experience up to 48 hours before your session with no penalty. If you wish to reschedule your session less than 48 hours in advance, you may be subject to a charge. After that date no refund will be issued. In case you will not attend the event, no refund will be issued.

  • In case of tailor-made tours, cruises, cultural tours, booking, payment and cancellation terms are subject to agreement.

  • Any change is subject to availability and to an administrative fee. While we will attempt to accommodate your change request, we cannot guarantee we will be able to do so. If we cannot, you will have the option to maintain the existing reservation or to cancel.

  • Cancellations due to unforeseeable events as outlined below:
    "Unforeseeable events" - If a reservation for a semi-private, private, or custom tour must be cancelled due to "unforeseeable events" out of your control you will receive full (100%) credit, less irrecoverable ticket or reservation fees. The following and only the following constitute "unforeseeable events" if they occur after your booking is made:

    • A Do Not Travel advisory is issued by the Italian government for the destination in which your services are booked;

    • The travel corridor is shut between your starting point and destination of service, including border closures;

    • Your cruise ship is unable to dock.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • All tours will start promptly on time. If you arrive late, no refund will be issued. No-shows for all tours are treated as last-minute cancellations and no refund will be issued;

  • Meeting place and time will be advice by email the day before of the event. If your need more information please call us at 0648903537;

  • All tours run rain or shine though there may be variations to accommodate the weather;

  • Travelers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult;

  • In case of travels outside the country you must check that all your documents and ID card or passport are valid at the date of the travel;

  • Where included, in case of lost or damage of the whisper sets, € 70 for each set will be charged;

  • You accept responsibility for the proper conduct of yourself and any or all other members of your group. We reserve the right in our reasonable discretion to terminate your tour or that of any member of your group whose conduct we or our guides consider disruptive or detrimental to the enjoyment of other guests, or whose conduct may prejudice our reputation, all in our sole discretion. In such event we shall have no further responsibility or liability to you. No refund or payment of any costs incurred by you will be made by us under these circumstances;

  • We will make every reasonable effort to provide the Services in accordance with the descriptions provided on our Site. Although it is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your reservation or cancel confirmed reservations, we reserve the right to do so should it become necessary or advisable. If we cancel your reservation, we will provide you either a credit that you may use towards another Service or a full refund at our discretion;

  • Please note some of the Services require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum number of bookings required for a particular Service has not been received, we may cancel the Service. We will notify you of cancellation for this reason;

  • Occasionally hosts must cancel an online experience due to illness or another unforeseen circumstance. On the off chance your hosts cancel your experience, you will receive a cancellation email and you will not be charged;

  • If audio/video difficulties occur during the online session, our technical support will be at your disposal to help you to enjoy the service at its best. We are not responsible for technical problems belonging to your devices or local signal. In case of technical problems belonging to us you will be refunded for the session.

Mandatory communication under Article 17 of Law 38/2006: 'Italian law punishes with imprisonment crimes concerning prostitution and child pornography even if committed abroad'.

Pursuant to art. ex art. 47 paragraph 1 letter. g. consumer code we inform you that in contracts concluded at a distance is excluded the right of withdrawal. Pursuant to art. 41 paragraph 7 cod.tur we inform you that in contracts negotiated away from business premises in cases of offers with rates significantly lower than competing offers is excluded the right of withdrawal. Therefore, the cancellation penalties set out in the data sheet are applicable to travellers/consumers who withdraw from a contract signed at a distance or off-premises with fares that are significantly lower than those offered by competitors. 

Pursuant to Article 59 of the Consumer Code, Legislative Decree No. 206 of 6 September 2005, as amended following Legislative Decree No. 21 of 21 February 2014, the right of withdrawal is excluded in respect of contracts for the provision of accommodation, transport, car rental services, catering or services relating to leisure activities, if the contract provides for a specific date or period for the service. This makes

the cancellation penalties provided for and indicated in each individual service shall apply to consumers who withdraw from a distance or off-premises contract

The tourist packages sold with the contract governed by these general conditions, are assisted by a guarantee for the refund of the price paid for the purchase of the tourist package and the immediate return of the tourist, in cases of insolvency or bankruptcy in accordance with the provisions of Article 47 of the Tourism Code. For this purpose Plutone Viaggi has stipulated a suitable policy, which can be consulted on the website. The validity of the proposals on this website is indicated in the price tables at the bottom of each itinerary Plutone Viaggi has stipulated, in accordance with Article 47 of the Tourism Code (Legislative Decree no. 62 of 21 May 2018), a policy for Professional Civil Liability with the Company Sara Assicurazioni.

The name of the carrier that will operate your flight(s) is indicated; any changes
will be communicated to you promptly, in accordance with Regulation 2111/2005.

EXCURSIONS IN THE LOCATION
Excursions, services and performances purchased by the traveller in loco and not included in the price of the tourist package are not part of the object of the relative contract stipulated by Plutone Viaggi e Turismo srl in the capacity of organiser. Therefore, no responsibility can be ascribed to Plutone Viaggi e Turismo srl either as organiser or as service intermediary, even in the event that, as a courtesy, local residents, accompanying persons or correspondents may take care of the booking of such excursions.
